NEXUS TRENCH PERFORMANCE
"CONNECTING THE DRILLS TO THE GAME"

CEO & FOUNDER
MICHAEL ROSE-IVEY
Michael Rose-Ivey, former Rockhurst High School and University of Nebraska linebacker, now serves as the Founder, CEO, and Lead Coach of Nexus Trench Performance. With over eight years of experience as a head coach, defensive coordinator, and position coach, Coach Rose-Ivey brings a hands-on, high-energy approach that sharpens both the mindset and skillset of every athlete he trains. His precision, attention to detail, and mastery of defensive line techniques have made him one of Kansas City’s premier defensive line trainers.
As a player, Michael’s impact was immediate. A 2012 Under Armour All-American, he still holds the Nebraska Football record for most tackles by a freshman (66) and finished his career with 163 total tackles, 17 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks.
Since launching Nexus Trench Performance in 2018, Michael has trained over 100 defensive linemen and edge players, including multiple Super Bowl champions and countless high school athletes who have gone on to compete at every level of college football — from Division I Power Five programs to smaller collegiate conferences.
Driven by the same passion and discipline that fueled his playing career, Michael is dedicated to elevating Kansas City’s next generation of defensive linemen. He believes football is one of the greatest tools for shaping character and leadership — a philosophy that defines every training session he leads.
